Looks For Less: Summer 1

Higher Priced Summer Outfit
I know it's early but I couldn't resist! So here, I've paired this Striped Bow Tank from Wetseal ($16) with Black Denim Hotpants from topshop.com ($44), Belle by Sigerson Morrison Chain Sandals in black from shopzoeonline.com ($195), Side Bow Headband from Hannaandersson.com ($11), and China Glaze's Sexy In The City Nail Laquer with Hardeners which can be found at ulta.com ($6.50).
Outfit Total= $272.50

This oufit is simple and cute. But, this outfit can be worn for a lot less.

Summer Outfit For Less
To make this outfit more affordable, I kept the same shirt which is only $16 from Wetseal. But I pared this shirt with a pair of Delainey Denim Shorts from Forever 21 ($16), this pair of Chained T-Strap Sandals from Charlotterusse.com ($15), a Satin Bow Headband from Forever21 ($3.80), and Sephora Collection Nail Polish 26 which can be purchased from sephora.com ($2).
Look For Less Total= $52.90

I created both of these looks using polyvore.com. Thanks polyvore!

VERY NEUTRAL EYE LOOK
This is a look that's very simple to create and is very neutral. Good for an every day look. For school or for work.

First, although you are unable to see it in this photo, I used ELF's Brightening Eye Color quad in Nouveau Neutrals. I used the color all the way to the right of the pallet (the shade one lighter than the darkest) on my lid. Next, I applied the darkest shad of the pallet to my crease and outer corner using an eyeliner brush, and a blending brush to blend the two colors together. Lastly, I applied the white shimmer color in the pallet on the inner corner.

Next, for my eyeliner, I used Physician's Formula Eyeliner Pen on my top lid, creating a thicker line towards the outer part of my lid, gradually getting smaller as I moved in. Lastly, I curled my eyelashes and applied my Cover Girl Exact Eyelights Mascara for Green eyes.

hope that you enjoyed this tutorial. If you have any questions, please comment below. Thanks!

Every Day Makeup

EVERY DAY MAKEUP LOOK
This is the makeup look that I wear almost everyday. It's my go-to look, I guess you could say. It's simple and can be dressed up and down. I know that you can't see my whole face, but the rest of my face is simple, and I'll walk you through that part as well.

First off, I removed any excess makeup from the night before using Neutrogena's oil-free eye makeup remover (see review). Next I applied Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Face Lotion.

For my face: I first applied Maybelline's Dream Mousse Concealer (see review) under my eyes, and on any blemishes and red spots. Next I applied ELF's Pressed Powder to my whole face. (TIP: make sure that you go down your neck if the color doesn't match exactly!)

For my eyes: First I applied the gold color in the Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Pallet (pictured below the 5th one from the top) all over my lid, up to my crease. To apply this, I used ELF's Blending Brush. Next, I used my ELF Eyeliner Brush and used a mixture of the gold color and the two greys in the Physician's Formula Pallet (3 from the top and 3 from the bottom) and applied this all in my crease and on my outer corner. Make sure that you clean off your brush (you can use brush cleaner, or just wipe it off with your hand.) Next, I put a small amount of the silver in my Physician's Formula pallet and I applied it to my inner corner, bringing it around a little bit underneath as well.

For my eyeliner: I applied a small amount of my Cover Girl Outlast Smoothwear Eyeliner in Indigo (see review on this as well) to under my eye about halfway from the outer corner to the inner. I blended this nicely with any sponge tip applicator.

For my eyelashes: I curled my top lashes, holding it for about 6 seconds on each eye (using Cover Girl's Lash Curler). Then I applied my Cover Girl Lash Blast Waterproof mascara to the top and bottom lashes (one coat). (a review on the Lash Blast Mascara will be coming soon).

I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial. If you have any questions, please comment below. Thanks!

Review: Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk

REVIEW:
Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Smoothing Milk.
Price: $4.49
Color: None
Pros: Good fragrance, easy to use, makes your hair super soft, works well at taming frizz, definatly helps fight humidity.
Cons: I have yet to find anything I don't like about this product.

Notes: I've been using this hair product for about 2 years now. I use it summer and winter, even though there is no humidity in the winter. In the winter, I mostly use it for the smoothing, frizz taming part. When I use this, I use it before I straighten my hair in the night then I use it again in the morning. My hair has never been so soft.
